Made From Coffee Grounds

It seems as the entire world is on a coffee drinking rage. Imagine that behind every cup of coffee we drink there’s an amount of wet coffee grounds that usually land in the trash. Some people use them as fertilizers in the garden or as a skin scrub. Taiwnese clothing company S. CAFE turns recycled coffee grounds into a yarn which is then turned into antibacterial and odor resisting activewear.
German Designer Julian Lechner takes coffee grounds to recreate espresso cups and saucers called KAFFEEFORM
Or use them, as company RE-WORK does, as the next sustainable building material for furniture. RITI printers use coffee grounds as ink, and Indonesian artist Ghidaq al-Nizar paints with coffee.
