Corkshell Wool
One of my favorite companies of all time, high performance and innovative textiles pioneer SCHOELLER, created an award winning technology called Corkshell some time ago. Fast forward 5 years the designer Vedran Gartmann invented a technology called Corkshell Wool. It is made by applying a layer of recycled cork to wool.Corkshell is made from cork granulate that is a bi-product in the production of wine corks. The natural granulate is pulverized and combined with the fabric in a patented process from Schoeller. Vedran Gartmann, added wool to this technology to make the fiber more wind repellent and more insulated.
